Dementia Support Groups
Caring for Carers Dementia Support Groups are groups specifically for carers of people with dementia or memory problems living in the Birmingham area.
In partnership with Birmingham Carers Hub, we offer a number of carer groups across Birmingham.
Family Carer Respite
When you care for another person, we understand that taking time out for yourself if you need to, is important for your own health and wellbeing. Our respite breaks allow you to take a break from your caring role, while the person you care for is looked after by someone else in the comfort of their own home.
Carers Assistance Line
If you’re an unpaid carer in Sandwell, our Carers Assistance Line (CAL) can help. Caring can make you feel isolated and worried and can put an enormous amount of pressure on you, especially if you often find it hard to access support. CAL provides a listening ear, and practical support (over the phone or face-to-face). We can also offer advice, training, signpost to specialist well-being agencies, tailored support groups and much more.
