Do you know a Crossroads Champion?

Our staff recognition awards are a quarterly opportunity for staff who have really gone the extra mile, to be recognised!

Nominations can be made by all Crossroads employees, by service users, family members of service users, and also by fellow professionals from the organisations that we work with.

These awards are not just for our Care Team, we welcome nominations for colleagues from our non-regulated services, admin teams and  management too!

How to nominate

To nominate someone who you think has set an example for us all, download a Crossroads Champion Award Nomination Form and give as many details as possible about the outstanding service that has been performed.

Please hand completed nomination forms to our Registered Care Manager, Michelle Oseland, or email it to her  – michelle.oseland@crossroads-caringforcarers.org.

Alternatively, you can post it to – Michelle Oseland, Crossroads, 494 Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury, B68 8DG.

The deadline to send in nomination forms for our next Crossroads Champion Award is  Friday 21st June 2024. So get nominating!

Recognition

Our winners will receive a certificate, Crossroads Champion pin badge and recognition in our  staff magazine, on our website and social media pages.

Annual Celebration 

All quarterly winners will have the opportunity to become our annual Crossroads Champion.

Crossroads Champion of the Year 2023 – 2024

Samantha Robak, Young Carer Adviser

Sam, who works for our Dudley Carers Wellbeing Service, really stood out because for four months of 2023 she was the sole worker on the Dudley Young Carers team and she thrived under this challenge. On top of this, her nominator commended her work ethic and positive attitude. She always has a smile on her face. Congratulations Sam!

Crossroads Champion of the Year 2022 – 2023

 

Richard Hannant, Care Support Worker

Richard was nominated, not once, but twice! His nominations came both internally and from an external partner at the Connected Palliative Care Hub. There was special recognition for Richard’s hard work and commitment, as well as his caring nature and compassion. He goes the extra mile on a daily basis. Well done Richard!
