Crossroads receives donation from Tipton Christmas Tree of Light Appeal

Crossroads was very pleased to recently accept a kind donation of £600 from the Tipton Christmas Tree of Light Appeal, organised by the Tipton Civic Society.

The appeal, which ran over the festive period last year, raises money for local charities from donations made by local people wishing to remember lost loved ones at Christmas time. The Tree is illuminated and dedicated to the memory of loved ones – be they family members, friends or colleagues, whose names are displayed around the tree.

The 2019 appeal raised £6,000 for local charities and this fantastic achievement was celebrated at a presentation evening, attended by chosen charities.

Crossroads CEO, Chris Christie said, “I would really like to thank you all so much for considering our charity as you allocate your generous donations. Our organisation has been so very lucky have you consider us over the last few years and your donation will help support the local community with a range of services and benefits.”
