Crossroads would like to thank the Rotary Club of Edgbaston Convention for their recent generous donation.
The cheque was presented to Crossroads CEO Chris Christie by Rotary Club Honorary Member Peter Mayer – a particularly fitting moment given Peter’s role as a founding trustee of Birmingham Crossroads and, later of the Carers Trust.
During the event earlier this week, Chris joined Claire Dale, CEO of Carers Trust Heart of England, to deliver a joint presentation. The two organisations, who share the same ethos and values, are currently working towards a merger that will bring significant benefits to unpaid carers and their families across the West Midlands.
This donation will directly support the continued delivery of vital services for family carers and their loved ones, helping more people to remain in the comfort of their own homes for longer.
