For unpaid carers living in Dudley and surrounding areas
Dudley Carers Wellbeing Service
Crossroads provide a well-being service for carers of all ages – young carers (age 5 – 17), young adult carers (age 18 -25) and adult carers (over 25) – throughout the Dudley borough, on behalf of Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council.
Our teams offer a supportive service to those whose lives are affected by caring for a family member who has a disability or long-term illness, including mental ill health, drug or alcohol-related illness and/or a learning disability.
Carers Assistance Line
If you’re an unpaid carer in Sandwell, our Carers Assistance Line (CAL) can help. Caring can make you feel isolated and worried and can put an enormous amount of pressure on you, especially if you often find it hard to access support. CAL provides a listening ear, and practical support (over the phone or face-to-face). We can also offer advice, training, signpost to specialist well-being agencies, tailored support groups and much more.
Carers Dementia Service
Crossroads Carers Dementia Service* works across the Black Country and Birmingham, specifically supporting those of the Black, South Asian and other ethnic communities.
