Messages of thanks lift spirits

Messages of thanks lift spirits

During this challenging time of the coronavirus pandemic, we are receiving some heart-warming messages of thanks and appreciation for our Care Support Workers from the families of those they care for –

Katie and her daughter Maisie-Jae have decorated their window in Oldbury to say thank you to the Crossroads carers who have been providing her grandad’s personal care during this difficult period. Members of our team pictured above, Liz and Sue (putting a smile on people’s faces over Easter!), plus many more are continuing to provide support to vulnerable loved ones across our community every day.

Another one comes from a gentleman whose father sadly passed away in 2017, following palliative care given by Andrea and Louise. During the coronavirus crisis, he was reminded of the great efforts – and now, also great risks – that our carers take to care for others and wanted to let us know that he has been clapping for them each Thursday. It’s fantastic to hear of the long lasting impression that our carers made at such a difficult time for his family.

Messages are always passed on to our team members, so if you have anything to help lift their spirits, please share them on our FaceBook page or send via our Contact Us form and we’ll make sure they see it!
