Care at Home
Crossroads Caring for Carers offers personalised care at home as well as support for unpaid carers across Sandwell and the surrounding areas including Walsall, Wolverhampton and some parts of Birmingham.
If you or your loved one lives in Sandwell or the above surrounding areas, we can offer a wide range of care and support services which provide an alternative to residential nursing care.
For unpaid carers living in Sandwell and surrounding areas
If you’re an unpaid carer in Sandwell, our Carers Assistance Line (CAL) can help. Caring can make you feel isolated and worried and can put an enormous amount of pressure on you, especially if you often find it hard to access support. CAL provides a listening ear, and practical support (over the phone or face-to-face). We can also offer advice, training, signpost to specialist well-being agencies, tailored support groups and much more.
Family Carer Training
Our fully qualified in-house trainer offers a variety of courses to family carers to help the cared-for person remain at home for longer, and also provide peace of mind for the carer. Family carers living in Sandwell could access free training.
Carers Dementia Service
Crossroads Carers Dementia Service* works across the Black Country and Birmingham, specifically supporting those of the Black, South Asian and other ethnic communities.
