Crossroads was very pleased to recently accept a kind donation of £600 from the Tipton Christmas Tree of Light Appeal, organised by the Tipton Civic Society.
The appeal, which ran over the festive period last year, raises money for local charities from donations made by local people wishing to remember lost loved ones at Christmas time. The tree is illuminated and dedicated to the memory of loved ones – be they family members, friends or colleagues, whose names are displayed around the tree.
The 2022 appeal raised thousands for local charities and this fantastic achievement was celebrated at a presentation evening, attended by chosen charities.
Crossroads Chairman, Ivan Wyle, who attended the presentation evening to accept the donation, said, “Thank you for choosing our charity once again to receive such a generous donation. The funds will help us to continue to provide a range of support services for carers of all ages in our local community.”
